‘The Price of Business’: Discussing Today’s Political and Economic Environment
On October 12, Alex Brill joined Kevin Price on ‘The Price of Business’ to discuss the state tax implications of President Biden’s student loan relief plan. Brill shares that they are going to forgive loans for 43 million individuals of all walks of life. Four states have already declared they will be taxing the value of the student loan forgiveness, with three more states possibly doing the same. It is not uncommon for this type of a gift or income to be taxed.
